Day 19: Free day followed by “Prague by Night”

Our goal today was the castle, the great kingdom up on the hill. This is St. Vitus, inside the castle walls. A collection of great art.

St. Vitus at the top of the hill, visible from everywhere in Prague.

But first, security. Check out Mr. Yellow Jacket—packing big.

High Security? Probably. My Yellow Jacket has a bulging pocket.

This is an Art Deco window by Mucha; the rest of the church is from the 15th century.

King Wenceslaus (on the left) of lyrics and song, the patron saint of the Czech people.
This is a lovely cobbled village, every house a different color. Every house, either showcasing amour or 15c lifestyle, or a shop with something different to sell.
We didn’t buy any, but every house— crafted to perfection

Then, a handsome but unarmed guard!

The Charles River canal— needs a dong! People live along here and travel by boat!

The Norbertine monastery whose side job is to make beer—and very tasty, too!

Good night!
