We had a bit of a leisurely start for a lovely day. Our tee time wasn’t until 12:33 (don’t you love the odd minutes!), so we went back to the Ladies Scottish Open and followed a few groups around for about an hour. Then it was time to roll down the street to North Berwick West Links, check in, have a very spicy bowl of soup, and start our very lovely round on the nicest weather day of the trip (it looks like it.)

The views and crisp shots made for cheering (where there wasn’t moaning!) I do remember yelling at my ball, “Stay!” So that it wouldn’t roll back into the bunker below. (It obeyed!) Everyone had some nice shots, Johnny, most of all. I guess I had a few pars and no lost balls, always a good thing. And sun and glorious views.

Later while having a second lunch (!), we watched a bit of the Ladies Scottish Open on TV. When the view flashed from Charlie Hull (golfer) to a seagull, and then back to Hull, Johnny made the connection: “C Hull, C gull.” Ok, we were tired, but that did get a laugh.

So not much else to report except gorgeous scenery on a lovely day!
